Give me good light, and I will tell you a story…

What drives my creative vision is how I strive to make light and color work in concert with my subject. It transcends the idea of a simple photo and becomes a storytelling image. Whether the image is contemporary or creative, it should tell your story. It might all sound ambitious or even grandiose, but I have yet to wake up in the morning and not wonder what can be envisioned and ultimately created.

My work is also mood-driven. Golden hour sunlight to dreary, cloudy days push color to new levels and set your images aside from the doldrum standard. I have been fortunate enough to be published both nationally and internationally, which is something I couldn’t have imagined when I first picked up a camera. It helped me feel confident that combining art with the human condition is something that produces imagery without limitations.
